The Wausau Area Builders Association was established in 1967, and currently has more than 200 members. The Association promotes its members, from home builders to tradespeople, to bankers and title agencies, as the place for consumers to go for a one-stop shop for home building and remodeling resources.
By investing in the Association you connect with over 200,000 trade allies throughout the nation. Members include home builders, remodelers, developers, subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, financial institutions, interior designers and many more.
The Association provides our members with seminars and educational events guaranteed to improve and protect your business practices. We strive to provide social networking events throughout the year designed to allow you to build relationships with your peers. Strong member relationships mean trust that results in meaningful partnerships!
We advocate on behalf of your business. Our government affairs program ensures your regulatory burden remains as low as possible while remaining environmentally responsible. We know that your success relies on efficient and predictable local, county and state government.
Membership in the Wausau Area Builders Association is an investment which brings benefits from three organizations. As a member you are automatically a member of the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) as well as the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Your 3-in-1 membership helps ensure that the voice of the building industry is heard at all levels of government.
Sponsored by Architecture Plus, LLP, the Hotline is a source to obtain legal information and education about an issue. The Hotline allows members to submit questions relating to the state’s residential building codes or legal issues relevant to the building industry and you receive a specific response of general legal information from a team of construction law attorneys.
